Terms of business.
How we work with clients, in plain English. Your quote refers to these terms, and anything agreed in the quote comes first.
Quotes
Every quote lists the films, the versions and the shoot days it covers, and holds for 30 days. Work outside it is quoted separately before we start.
Payment
Half the fee books your dates. The rest is due when we deliver the final films, within 14 days of our invoice. Projects longer than three months are paid in stages, set out in the quote. Prices are shown before VAT.
Changes
Each film includes two rounds of changes to the edit. Send each round’s notes together, within five working days of the cut. Further rounds, or changes after a cut is approved, are charged at our day rate. Late notes or approvals can move the delivery date, and we will tell you by how much.
Moving or cancelling
You can move a shoot once at no charge if you tell us at least ten working days before. Closer to the date, or if you cancel, the deposit covers the time and bookings already made. If weather or illness stops a shoot, we agree a new date with you at no charge.
Footage, music and rights
Once the fee is paid in full, you own the final films and can use them anywhere, with no time limit. Licensed music, stock footage and fonts follow their own licences, which your quote sets out. We keep the raw footage for twelve months, and it is yours on request.
People and places on camera
We get a signed release from everyone we film. If you supply people, locations, music or brand material, you confirm you have the right to use them.
Showing your film
Once a film is public, we may show it on this site and in our showreel, unless your quote says otherwise.
Liability and law
Our liability to you is limited to the fee for the project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
